Back in 1981, The American Association of Documented Sports Services released a list of
up-and-coming sports services. On the list was Gridiron Gold.

1981 was also the time when Eastern Sports (Now Gridiron Gold) won the College Basketball and
College Basketball Handicapping Contest and finished second in Pro Basketball. All contestants were expert
basketball handicappers and sports service owners. The biggest and best basketball picks from the best
basketball handicapper names in the industry (Jim Feist, Mike Lee, Marc Lawrence, HR Jones, Tony
Salinas, Dave Cokin, Joe Gavazzi, Donn Wagner, Doc Sports and many other well known services), battled
